Today, an upgrade was made to the Dopamine Jailbreak, which was formerly based on Fugu15 and supported iOS 15.0–15.4.1 in addition to iOS 16.
Although the official release of Dopamine 2.0, which would support iOS 16, was made available today, we have known for a few months that developer @opa334 is working on it.
Dopamine 2.0 is a semi-tethered rootless jailbreak that functions similarly to a standard jailbreak and allows you to install customizations and themes. It also comes with Sileo. Traditional, rootful jailbreak tools are not any less potent than rootless jailbreak tools.
ElleKit is responsible for enabling the Dopamine Jailbreak tweak injection.

Developer @opa334 claims that Dopamine 2.0 will soon support iOS 15.0–16.6.1 and A8 smartphones as well.
Furthermore, iOS 16.6b1 through 16.6b4 are also supported; however, A15+ support is only confirmed for iOS 16.6 Beta 2 and beyond.
Developer @opa334 extensively tested the Dopamine 2.0 jailbreak, and it’s possible that additional testers did the same. It ought to function similarly to how Dopamine 1.x did.
However, developer @opa334 does clarify that because of erratic page allocations, reliability might not be 100%. They also mention how unstable the KFD Landa exploit is, and how it might result in late and random device panics (reboots).
In general, I believe that additional defects will eventually be fixed; however, some of the problems are related to the exploit and the methods that were employed, which make them difficult to resolve.
How can I get Dopamine 2.0 jailbreak IPA downloaded?
Similar to its predecessor, Dopamine 2.0 can be found in IPA format. The IPA file can be downloaded and sideloaded to your smartphone with programs like Sideloadly, AltStore, TrollStore, and others.
The installer via TrollStore, which obviates the requirement to re-sign every seven days, is recommended by developer @opa334.
