Download iRemovalRa1n Jailbreak for iOS 12 to iOS 14.8.1

The creator of the iRemoval PRO tool has now published checkra1n for Windows, which goes by the name iRemovalRa1n. Using a Linux distribution has been the exclusive option for Windows users looking to jailbreak their iPhones with checkra1n. But now it’s different.

About iRemovalRa1n

The iRemoval PRO 5 app’s checkra1n for Windows is called iRemovalRa1n (iRa1n). You can release this project under a new name because Siguza and a lot of other checkra1n developers are aware of it. All versions of iOS from 12.0 to 14.8.1 are compatible with iRemovalRa1n.

You may jailbreak your iPhone 5s, iPhone X, and any iOS device running iOS 12–14 using this Windows version of the checkra1n and checkm8 vulnerability. Support for the most recent firmware versions will be added to iRemovalRa1n when the developers of checkra1n enable jailbreaking of iOS 15.

Because an appropriate kernel driver was not available, checkra1n for Windows was never formally released. By installing the UsbDK Runtime Libraries, a new Windows jailbreak called iRemovalRa1n uses the same techniques to exploit iOS firmware using a USB connection.

iRemovalRa1n is a port of the checkra1n program for Linux and macOS that mimics its design. Knowing how to use the checkra1n interface will give you a good idea of what to expect and how to jailbreak iOS on Windows. The checkm8 exploit is at the core of this jailbreak.

This potentially lifelong jailbreak capability for A5-A11 devices was made possible by axi0mX’s persistent, unpatchable bootrom exploit. This effectively makes all future iOS releases susceptible.

This exploit, which was first made public as an open-source project, is now also the basis for the Windows version of iRemovalRa1n. Connect your iOS device to your computer using a USB-A connector to install Cydia using checkra1n for Windows.

The most recent iOS devices, such as the iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Mini, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, are incompatible with the iRemovalRa1n jailbreak. The iPhone XR, the iPhone XS Max, the iPhone XS, and the iPhone 11 Pro.

By bypassing Apple’s official App Store, the Cydia app—which provides access to thousands of tweaks and applications—can be installed through the jailbreak tool. Like Cydia, iRemovalRa1n is based on Substrate, a robust code injection library.

Up until now, the only way to jailbreak iOS devices on a Windows PC using checkra1n was to use checkn1x. To jailbreak an iPhone from a personal computer, you can use this Linux system (small image, around 29 MB) that can be run from a USB stick. The Windows version of iRemovalRa1n is a native application.

The Windows versions that checkra1n is compatible with include 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11. It is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. If you’re using Windows 7–10, you’ll need to install the UsbDK Runtime Libraries by RedHat before you can use the jailbreak program.

How to use iRemovalRa1n

Just like the original jailbreak program, iRemovalRa1n (checkra1n for Windows) requires you to enter DFU mode and connect your device to a computer via a USB-A cable. Getting Cydia installed and jailbroken is as simple as checking if your device and iOS version are compatible.

First things first: head over to Apple’s website and get the most recent version of iTunes for Windows. You need iTunesMobileDevice.dll.

  1. Get iRemoval PRO v5 and set it on your Windows computer.
  2. Open up the iRemoval PRO app.
  3. Go to the jailbreak button and click on it to open the iRemovalRa1n app.
  4. A USB-A connection lets you connect your iPhone or iPad to your PC.
  5. To jailbreak your phone, click “Start.”
  6. The Recovery Mode will start up on iRemovalRa1n.
  7. Follow the steps shown on the screen to get into DFU mode.
  8. Checkm8 will take advantage of the system and start-up in jailbreak mode.
  9. To get to tweaks and apps from Repositories, open the Cydia app.
